~Biography - Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Brull started his journey as an artist as an apprentice to well-known Muralist Rafael Rios. Brull came to Orlando 20 years ago and brought with him, his strongly accented Puerto Rican Art. A common theme in Brull's work is the statement of Puerto Rico as a US colony and the resulting complicated identity among it's citizens."I call myself a story teller, a graphic reporter of what surrounds me." Pedro Brull wants you to know his culture, his religion, his world from a from a first-person perspective. This show is a retrospective of his 50-year career told through paint and heart.
